Gladiator Summer Trend

This summer Gladiator sandals are a hot trend. I personally find the flat ones super comfy, as i don't have to worry about them slipping off my feet while i bounce around the city.
But wearing them right is the key.
Please leave the high rise ones for the gladiators. The low rise flats are best for the summers and comfy. They can be super fun in many bright colors, prints and embellishments.
Here are some tips as to how you can wear them-

Studded leather, always works

Brown leather will never go out of fashion

Dig in for some grandma gold jewellery

Play with color but don't overdo it, keep it chic

Keep it simple yet chic

Matthew Williamson Spring 2010

The hippy and bohemian Matthew Williamson showcased his Spring 2010 collection in London September 20. The collection had fabrics from leather to crushed metallic to silk, rather luxurious, but still had the trademark bright colors and splashes of fluorescent green and the blue cast UV light captured in sheer skirt ( the old clubbing-in-ibiza influence). Delicate metallic work around the neck, bright peep-toe boots and well tailored fits makes me a big fan of Matthew Williamson. Even in the middle of tough economic times Matthew Williamson , whose signature bright outfits and his collaboration with H&M, makes a sellout every time. The metallic collection is stated as the recession armor of 2010.

Buenos Aires Hair Trend

As the summer is approaching in Buenos Aires, i see everything transform from black and grey into vibrant colors. The shop windows are colorful with bursts of fuchsia pinks to vintage violets. One thing i find amusing are the colorful hair accessories. From big flowers to beautiful feathers, a hot trend in the city.
Incorporating hair accessories into your wardrobe is a great way of experimenting with your looks. A great hair do can make or break an outfit. you can pair a colorful headband with dull outfits to transform the look into something very chic. You can wear the same outfit again just by changing the accessories and Voila! its a whole new look. Its totally up to you how you want to, and it represents your personal style. So be daring , Surprise yourself!

Carrie Bradshaw is back with the girls

The fabulous four are back with a bang for the sequel of Sex and the city movie. Well girls, the wait is not yet over since the movie is to be released in May 2010. Its filming all over New York and the fans and Paparazzi are crowding around the sets to get a glimpse of the hot stars.
Sarah Jessica Parker is looking stunning in her Chanel white dress as she floats around in her sky high, gold, glittery 'Pigalle' pumps by Christian Louboutin for her first day's filming as Carrie Bradshaw.
Being a big fan myself, this reminds me of the late night downloading of all the seasons of the SATC series, the movie i watched in my favorite cinema in India with my sister and trying to walk around in sky high heels just to find out that we are not as gifted as Carrie and end up in screwed ankle pains.
I was quite curious to know the story line and the twists of SATC movie 2, so i investigated around and here's what i found out,

1. Carrie Bradshaw might have a baby, who will need an English nanny. Rumors are that Victoria Beckham has auditioned for that role and also Kate Moss. Wow!! I cant imagine Beckham or Moss as a nanny, but maybe the role of baby stylists would more suit them.
2. Big will cheat on Carrie!! Eww not again Big being an ass.
3. Filip Kleva told reporters that he will be Samantha's new foreign lover. That means the cute Smith Jerrod and the hot LA neighbor Dante are not coming back for the sequel.
4.And of course, Katie Holmes will reportedly be playing a high powered executive who tangles with Samantha.

But no matter the twists in the movie, we are glad to watch the girls together, looking fabulous as ever!

Designed by Georgina Chapman

NYFW Anna Sui

Circus animal prints infused with vibrant glossy colors and tailored cuts , Anna Sui rocked the runway of the New York fashion week , fresh out of the mid life achievement award and a collaboration with 'Target'.
The drama and excitement of her life is visible in her 'Circus' themed spring collection.
We are loving the bold prints, splashes of glossy colors, the perfectly tailored ringmaster's jacket and the flowered head scrafs. It has a flavor of the sixties pop revelation which makes it even more appealing.
The theme has been deliciously executed leaving us in amazement.

All in all, a wild and wearable collection !
